AfroMbira exists to help African artists, fans and culture connect in one trusted place, where music can be discovered, protected, enjoyed and turned into real opportunity for the people who create it.
Why We Exist
African music is loved across the world, but many artists still struggle to earn fairly, reach the right audiences, protect their work and build sustainable careers.
For generations, African music has influenced global sound, dance and culture. Yet the systems that help artists get discovered, get paid, understand their audience and build long-term careers have often been fragmented, difficult to access or built far away from the communities creating the music.
AfroMbira was created to help close that gap. We are building a home for African music that brings listeners, artists and opportunities closer together. A place where fans can discover the music they love, while artists gain better tools to grow their audience, earn from their work and build stronger careers.
In simple terms: we want African music to create more value for African artists, African businesses and African communities.
We are starting with streaming, artist support, media and music promotion, but our ambition is broader. Over time, AfroMbira aims to help connect more parts of an artist's journey, from discovery and promotion to royalties, live opportunities, partnerships and new ways to earn.

Our Story
AfroMbira began with a simple question: if African music creates so much cultural value, why is it still so difficult for many African artists to turn that value into sustainable careers?
The Beginning
Great music was being created every day, but discovery, promotion, payments, artist support and access to audiences were often disconnected. AfroMbira started from the belief that this gap could be reduced.
Building the Foundation
AfroMbira began developing a streaming platform supported by artist relationships, exclusive music, local media, promotion and a growing presence close to the music communities we want to serve.

Our long-term goal is to create a connected music business that helps artists across more of their journey, from being discovered to building audiences, earning income and reaching opportunities locally and globally.
